Job Description:
This position involves working in the Labor and Delivery unit at Wesley Medical Center, providing care for patients undergoing labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The role requires handling high-risk labor cases and ensuring the care and support of mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients, including those with high-risk factors.
- Assist in C-sections and inductions.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN.
