Opportunity:

Physician - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time position, 4 days per week considered


• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM


• Weeknight and weekend call required at a 1:2 ratio


• Adult patients only (18+)


• Approximately 10 patients per day, expected to grow


• Community-based general oncology and hematology practice with inpatient hospital consults as needed


• Clinic is located inside the hospital


• Case mix: 40% Hematology and 60% Oncology


• Support staff includes 2 front office staff, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 Navigator, and additional support personnel


• EMR: EPIC


• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Oncology required


• Active PA license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required


• Active DEA required

This community hospital is a full-service regional medical center with 131 beds, offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community. The facility is expanding its oncology and hematology services with the opening of a new Medical Oncology and Hematology practice, supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
