Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time locum tenens hematology/oncology coverage with Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


• Work alongside team of 3 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers with support from registered nurses, medical assistants, patient navigators, and infusion nurses


• Access to radiation oncology services on-site


• Perform bone marrow biopsies as required


• Participate in 1:4 weekly hospital call rotation from Friday 7:30 AM to Friday 7:30 AM


• Daily hospital rounding for 1-2 hours Monday through Sunday with additional weekday afternoon rounds from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM


• Manage care for acute leukemic patients and inpatient chemotherapy patients during call coverage


• Share weekday clinic call responsibilities for add-on consults and supervising chemotherapy patients


• Supervise own patients in chemotherapy clinic


• Handle approximately 15 patient encounters per shift


• Board certification required with fellowship training preferred


• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
