Job Description:
The Cardiovascular Technologist will work in the Cath Lab and Radiology departments, providing specialized care primarily to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with a variety of diagnostic/interventional Cath Lab procedures including LHC/RHC, Impella, and IABPs.
- Manage equipment and scrub operations, ensuring simultaneous operation and table efficiency.
- Perform monitoring duties and assist with EP procedures, including pacemakers and lead extractions.
- Support IR procedures as needed, handling tasks such as catheter placements and embolizations.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as required within a 30-minute timeframe.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year Cath Lab experience; IR experience preferred but not required.
- Required Certifications: RCIS or RT(R), WA State License, BLS, ACLS.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
- Willingness to float to Good Sam or Tacoma General if necessary.
