• Day Shifts, 7:00 AM‚Äì7:00 PM:
- December 20 - December 22 - December 26\n
• Shift Length: 12 hours

• Setting: Hospital Emergency Department
\n
• Coverage Model: One physician with two APPs providing split coverage
\n
• Physician Volume: Approximately 18‚Äì20 patients per shift
\n
• Department Volume: Approximately 90‚Äì100 patients daily; 32,000 annually
\n
• ED Size: 22 beds
\n
• ICU: Open
\n
• Call: None
\n
• EMR: Meditech 6.1
\n
• Credentialing: Approximately 14 days
\n
• Temporary Privileges: Available
\n
• Housing: Hospital-owned apartments available
### Requirements\n
• Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician
\n
• Active North Carolina license or active IMLC Letter of Qualification
\n
• Currently credentialed with North Carolina Medicaid
\n
• Currently enrolled in PECOS
\n
• Ability to provide standard Emergency Department physician coverage
\n
• Availability for one or more listed shifts
### Clinical Details\n
• Evaluate and treat emergency patients across a broad acuity range
\n
• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage during 12-hour shifts
\n
• Coordinate care with two APPs providing split coverage
\n
• Work with 24-hour anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology support
\n
• Manage patients requiring escalation to the open ICU
\n
• No newborn deliveries are received in the Emergency Department
\n
• No APP supervision, resident supervision, or teaching responsibilities
\n
