Job Description:
Position: Registered Nurse – Stepdown Unit
Location: Cleveland, OH 44195
Duration: 3+ Months (With a Possibility of Extension)
Shift: Day/Night Rotating (Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duties & Responsibilities:
•\tProvide direct nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit, ensuring high-quality and patient-centred care.
•\tContinuously monitor patient conditions, including cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and neurological status, and respond promptly to changes.
•\tAdminister medications, IV therapies, and treatments accurately in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
•\tCollaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
•\tPerform detailed patient assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
•\tEducate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, post-discharge care, and health management.
Requirements:
•\tMinimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel
•\tMinimum 18 months of recent Stepdown experience
•\tValid Ohio RN License or Compact State License
•\tBLS, NIHSS, ACLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
