Job Description
JOBSUMMARY:
Assistsintherepairand trackingofon-site equipment,vehiclesand machinery.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair
- Assistsinthe auto shop for dailyassignmentand duties.
- Receives training to advance the auto shops skill set with vehicles and equipment.
- Possesses thewillingnessto repair Forest Home vehicles,equipmentand machinery
- Utilizes CMMS for work order management,trackingand completion of all requests.
- Responsible for keeping inventory and tools organized and in good condition.
- Ability to work in extreme hot orcold conditions
- Assistsin snow removal and other tasks asassignedincluding after normal work hours.
- Tracking
- Monitor vehicle registrations, smog certificates,servicingand maintenance records to ensure compliance and timeliness.
- Perform in assignedareas asrelated to ourcmms.
- Safety
- Ensuresfacilitiesisin safe workingconditionandreports potential safety issues and recommends appropriate changes.
- Ensures tools and maintenance equipment are in working order and keeps maintenance buildings clean and organized.
- Operate different tools and equipment such as golf carts, company vehicles, heavy equipment, forklifts, etc. in a safe manner.
- Complies withfactory specifications in relationship to equipment andmaterial, andassures that all materials are handled according to factory recommendations and training.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This positionsupervises the Auto Shop Mechanic.
