Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM as needed
• Average 38 patients per day for screening mammograms and 18 per day for diagnostic mammography
• Work with GE Senographe Pristina equipment
• Use Cerner and Penrad documentation systems
• Required to wear pink top and black pants uniform
• Must be willing to float to other breast centers as needed
• Current ARRT (R) and (M) Mammography certifications required
• Must have 40 hours initial mammography training documentation
• Current continuing education for mammography required
• Up to date on mammography numbers (200/2 years)
• 8 hours digital mammography training and 8 hours digital tomosynthesis training required
• BLS certification required
• IV certification preferred
• Experience with screening mammograms and competency in additional imaging views including magnification and spot compression
• Must be competent in invasive and sterile procedures
• Perform stereotactic biopsies, pre-surgical localizations, and contrast enhanced mammography
• Experience working with women who have cancer history including lumpectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation treatment
