As a Security Officer - Experience Required - Evenings in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance or access issues.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access to restricted areas in accordance with site policies.
• Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing equipment surroundings, checking gates and doors, and reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Have 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
