Automotive Service Manager

Audi Rutand/Volkswagen of Rutland are looking for a dedicated Automotive Service Manager to lead our service team in Rutland,VT. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, creating growth, and managing a team of skilled advisors & technicians to maintain the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair. 

You would be leading a team of very tenured service advisors, as well as a young and highly skilled technicians. We work in a collaborative environment with a very strong team approach to day to day business. Our business is profitable and maintains very high CSI. We are looking for a strong leader to refine our operations and take our dealer to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Manage the service department’s daily operations to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Supervise, train, and support service technicians and staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate service estimates, work orders, and warranty claims.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to build loyalty and trust.
• Monitor department performance and implement improvements where necessary.
• Coordinate with parts and sales departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive service management or related roles.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with service management software and tools.
• A valid driver’s license and an understanding of vehicle systems.
• be willing to submit to a criminal background check.
