Position Summary:

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining fire alarm systems in commercial environments. Candidates should possess strong technical and analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, performance-based position operating Monday through Friday with participation in an on-call rotation schedule. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Service, troubleshoot, inspect, and test fire alarm systems in accordance with NFPA standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and technical documents
  • Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, vendors, and AHJs
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, laptops, and mobile devices in daily operations
  • Complete work orders, inspection reports, and service documentation accurately and on time
  • Use Honeywell CLSS software and other industry technologies
  • Maintain organized inventory, vehicle stock, and job materials
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings and ongoing technical training
  • Follow company safety standards, vehicle policies, and PPE requirements
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites and company vehicles
  • Support a positive team environment while delivering exceptional customer service


Qualifications

Preferred Certifications & Experience

  • NICET II Certification or higher
  • Denver Fire Alarm Installer License
  • Backflow Certification
  • Additional industry certifications are a plus

Required Skills

  • Strong fire alarm troubleshooting and service experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
  • Computer proficiency and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Ability to comply with all Federal, State, and local codes

Requirements

  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to repeatedly lift and carry equipment up to 80 lbs
  • Ability to safely use ladders up to 28 feet
  • Ability to work in construction and commercial environments throughout the day
