Medication Technician (Med Tech/Caregiver)

We are seeking experienced Medication Technicians who bring a strong background in assisted living or healthcare and are passionate about making a meaningful difference every day.
What You Will Do as a Medication Technician
- Provide compassionate, respectful personal care, assistance, and companionship to residents
- Safely administer medications in accordance with South Carolina regulations and community policies
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Observe, document, and report changes in residents physical condition, behavior, or care needs
- Support and update Resident Care Plans based on observed changes and team collaboration
- Encourage and assist residents in participating in community programs and daily activities
- Work closely with nursing, leadership, and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care
- Play a vital role in maintaining resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare strongly preferred
- Current South Carolina Medication Technician certification required
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Demonstrated understanding of medication administration and resident care protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility
