Medication Technician (Med Tech/Caregiver)

We are seeking experienced Medication Technicians who bring a strong background in assisted living or healthcare and are passionate about making a meaningful difference every day.


What You Will Do as a Medication Technician

  • Provide compassionate, respectful personal care, assistance, and companionship to residents
  • Safely administer medications in accordance with South Carolina regulations and community policies
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
  • Observe, document, and report changes in residents physical condition, behavior, or care needs
  • Support and update Resident Care Plans based on observed changes and team collaboration
  • Encourage and assist residents in participating in community programs and daily activities
  • Work closely with nursing, leadership, and care teams to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Play a vital role in maintaining resident safety, dignity, and quality of life


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare strongly preferred
  • Current South Carolina Medication Technician certification required
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Demonstrated understanding of medication administration and resident care protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a strong sense of responsibility
