Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Florida, requiring at least 1 year of L&D experience and active FL or compact RN license.
Details
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- 12-week contract
- Weekend requirement: 6 shifts per 6-week schedule
- No on-call requirements
- Mandatory float within Women's services; optional float to other units as a sitter or resource nurse
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: NRP, ACLS, and BLS
- Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
- Must pass a proctored Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) course administered by the unit prior to starting — candidates who do not pass cannot retest for 6 months
- Two doses of COVID-19 vaccine required or an approved declination on file
Additional Information
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
- Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
- A copy of your COVID vaccination card will be required for consideration
