Commercial Furniture Installer

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and inventory furniture deliveries at job sites, verifying accuracy against purchase orders and project plans.
• Assemble and install systems furniture (cubicles, workstations, panel systems), casegoods, seating, and ancillary items per manufacturer specifications and architectural drawings.
• Read and interpret floor plans, installation drawings, and elevation blueprints to ensure accurate placement and layout.
• Reconfigure, relocate, and dismantle existing furniture systems as required by project scope.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and client representatives on site to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Identify and communicate punch list items, damaged goods, or missing components to the project manager promptly.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and lift equipment (dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks) safely and proficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout all phases of the installation.
• Complete post-installation quality checks and obtain client sign-off upon project completion.
• Accurately complete daily paperwork including time logs, delivery receipts, and project completion form
