Experienced Assembler 1st Shift P1

Marathon Staffing is looking for an experienced assembler to work in a growing global manufacturing facility in Salisbury NC

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Experienced Wood Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming processed wood components into high-quality finished products. You will work from complex blueprints and technical drawings, utilizing a variety of power tools, and industrial machinery to ensure every piece meets our rigorous standards for structural integrity.

This is a long-term, full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with room for growth. We hire immediately and encourage dependable, hard-working individuals to apply.

Schedule

Monday – Friday 6:00am – 6:00pm

With overtime opportunities available

Starting pay at $22.00/hour, With the opportunity for an increase based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly & Construction: Interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints to assemble various wood components.

Tool Operation: including but not limited to Pneumatic nail guns, various power tools and measuring tapes.

Quality Control: Inspect raw materials for defects and verify that finished dimensions align precisely with technical specifications.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in professional wood assembly, construction, or manufacturing.

Technical Literacy: Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints

Mathematical Proficiency: Mastery of shop math, including precise fractional measurements and geometry for angles.

Attention to Detail: A "sharp eye" for symmetry, alignment, and surface imperfections.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift components weighing up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Attributes

Knowledge of specialized woodworking finishes or veneers.

Prior experience in a high-volume, deadline-driven production environment.
