Mechanical Drafter

Contract to hire opening for a Mechanical Drafter with Inventor 3D experience.

Looking for someone with 3 to 10 years of experience.

In this role, you will be taking existing drawings and updating them in Inventor 3D

Essential Functions

• Develop detailed designs for mechanical equipment and controls.
• Provide details on component descriptions.
• Resolve design problems.
• Review and analyze specifications.
• Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery.
• Compute dimensions of materials and purchase accordingly.
• Correct operating deficiencies.
• Draft technical details.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in drafting
• 3 to 10 years of mechanical drafting experience
• Autodesk Inventor 3D CAD experience required
• Knowledge of ASME codes
• Knowledge of tanks, pressure vessels or boilers a plus
