Production Supervisor
Adecco is assisting a client in Elizabethtown, NC in hiring a Production Supervisor. If you have experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working hands-on, this could be a great fit.
Position Summary
The Production Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, and production targets are met. This role requires strong leadership, quick decision-making, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees
Assign work, monitor output, and ensure daily goals are achieved
Address production issues in real time to minimize downtime
Partner with maintenance, engineering, and other teams to resolve challenges
Enforce safety standards and promote a safe work environment
Ensure products meet quality expectations and address defects as needed
Maintain production records and shift documentation
Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and onboarding new team members
Qualifications
3+ years of manufacturing or production experience
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Strong understanding of production processes, safety, and quality standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar systems)
Work Environment
Manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and noise
Standing for extended periods and occasional lifting required
Flexibility for overtime or weekend work as needed
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
