Maintenance Technician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $27.50 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Third Shift (Thursday through Monday from 10:00pm to 06:30am)

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Works with supervisor to determine the root cause of issues and appropriate corrections.
• Troubleshoots conveyor system controls and adjusts/calibrates or repairs as needed; performs reactive repairs to maintain operation of conveyors and production equipment

Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field with intermediate to advance working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor systems in a fast-paced production environment.
• Working knowledge of standard building codes and safety regulations
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to advance knowledge of PLC's and sortation controls
• Ability to follow blueprints, technical manuals, and engineering specifications
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently or in a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills
• Possess a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to be on call, work days or nights, weekends and overtime if required
• Basic word processing, spreadsheet, and email skills.
