Setting: Acute Care Hospital – Med Surg Unit
Role Overview:
Seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a fast-paced medical and surgical floor caring for a diverse patient population. Nurses will manage both medical and post-surgical patients during the same shift and should be comfortable in a dynamic acute care environment.
Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience \t
- Previous travel experience required (No Exceptions) \t
- Active Missouri or Compact RN License at submission \t
- BLS required
Patient Population & Diagnoses:

- Orthopedic surgeries (TKR, THR, spine, rotator cuff) \t
- GI surgeries (appendectomy, gallbladder, resections) \t
- GYN and Urology patients \t
- COPD, CHF, COVID, Sepsis, UTI, Pneumonia
Unit Details:

- Patient Ratios: 1:6 Days / 1:7 Nights \t
- 28-bed Med Surg unit \t
- Average Daily Census: 18 patients \t
- Mixed medical and surgical assignments
