Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience across multiple service lines, including weekends and call coverage.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Covers multiple service lines including General, Neuro, Ortho, and Robotics
- Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Weekend availability required
- Call responsibilities required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Current ACLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of OR nursing experience
- Flexibility to work across multiple surgical service lines required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include circulating duties, prepping the OR, positioning and preparing patients, and completing Safe Surgery verification checklists
- Serves as communication liaison between the surgical team and patient families
- Delegates and supervises other team members while executing interventions in urgent or emergent situations
- Assists in control and maintenance of supplies and equipment
