About the Position

This is a Class B driver position operating 26-foot box trucks, 26-foot flatbeds, and midsize trucks, all with automatic transmissions. The driver will haul plumbing products, HVAC materials, and pipe. Equipment used includes pallet jacks, two-wheel dollies, and sit-down forklifts. The furthest delivery is approximately three hours away. While the role is primarily driving, the driver may assist in the warehouse at times and will be responsible for loading their own truck as needed.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $29.50 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday with start times at 5:00 AM or 6:00 AM, working until the route is completed. Typical end times range between 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM depending on business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver materials according to schedule
• Ensure loads are properly secured and within weight limits
• Deliver tickets and obtain customer signatures
• Communicate with supervisors throughout the day
• Pick up customer returns and local purchase orders
• Comply with DOT standards and company policies
• Provide professional customer service and support company initiatives

Minimum Requirements

• 1+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with non-excepted interstate status
• Smartphone savvy with strong customer service skills
• All DOT regulations and company policies must be met
