Forging Operator-2nd shift - Now Hiring

Are you mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and ready to build a career in manufacturing? We are seeking a dependable Forging Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate forging equipment to produce high-quality metal components while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate forging presses and hammers according to production requirements
• Prepare and position metal stock for forging processes
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, and forming parameters to ensure product quality
• Inspect raw materials and finished parts to verify specifications and dimensional accuracy
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and tooling
• Perform routine equipment checks and minor adjustments
• Assist with die changes, setups, and housekeeping activities
• Complete production records and documentation accurately
• Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
• Communicate equipment or process concerns to Leads and Maintenance personnel

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or forging experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work safely in a hot industrial environment
• Forklift and crane experience is a plus
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, and inspect materials and dies up to 70 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, and work around heavy industrial equipment
• Exposure to heat, noise, and manufacturing conditions
• Must wear required personal protective equipment
