Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner Assistant to support our Production team in achieving company goals and meeting customer delivery timelines. This role plays a key part in purchasing, order processing, and coordination between Production and Sales.

$20–$26 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

Create and manage purchase orders and vendor communications
Monitor open purchase orders and expedite materials as needed
Run and analyze MRP reports
Confirm production orders and generate pick tickets
Process customer orders and support on-time deliveries
Provide order status updates to the Sales team
Assist with inventory tracking and general production support

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Purchasing or supply chain experience preferred
Experience with SAP or other ERP/order management systems preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer systems

Additional Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments
Willingness to work overtime as needed
