Job Title: Receptionist/Sales Administrative Assistant

Location: Houston, TX

Pay: $24 -$26 / Hour

Hours: 8:00-5:00-100% in the office

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).


Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to support daily office operations and provide administrative assistance to the sales team. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience, intermediate Excel skills, and a customer-service mindset.


Key Responsibilities
  • Greet visitors and provide a welcoming, professional front office experience.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and timely manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team and management.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and sales-related documentation.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to track data, generate reports, and maintain records.
  • Order and maintain office supplies and coordinate vendor deliveries.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and assist with travel arrangements as needed.
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail/packages.
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical
  • Assist with data entry, invoicing, and other administrative projects as assigned.
  • Support general office operations and ensure the office runs efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative support or receptionist experience.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting a sales team.
  • Experience with office coordination or vendor management.
  • Basic invoicing or accounts payable experience is a plus.
