Assist physicians and other cath lab personnel in conducting diagnostic and interventional procedures, and operate advanced equipment to capture crucial images and data of the heart and blood vessels.

Minimum Qualifications

• ARRT certified Radiologic Technologist.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a cath lab hospital setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred).
• State licensure as required by Texas.
• Experience with IABP and Impella devices required.
• Interventional cath experience, including peripheral and coronary procedures, required.
• Experience using Meditech or comparable EMR systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred.
• Experience with IVUS, FFR, ultrasound, stents, balloons, and pacemaker/AICD or Watchman procedures preferred.
• Competency to float to IR, ICU, or pre/post PACU cath preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–15:00.
• On-call expectation: every other weekend on call; every other night on call during the week.
• Call back response time requirement: 30 minutes.
• May be required to float to IR and ICU if competency demonstrated, and to pre/post PACU cath areas.
• Scrub color: navy.
• Patient ratio typically 1:1 for procedures.
