Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician located in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization, and regulatory requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts
- Shift: Evenings (Monday to Friday with rotating weekends)
- Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) accredited by the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA); 0-4 years of related experience
- Preferred Qualifications: 2-4 years of experience in sterile processing; knowledge of case cart assembly, materials management, testing, and inspection of products and processes
- Additional Information: The position is on hold on the portal; candidates with previous travel experience of 7 years, trauma, general, community, adult, and pediatric experience, as well as specific skills such as sterilization of lower GI scopes and high-level disinfection, are highly encouraged to apply. The start date is based on credentialing clearance; if not cleared by the posted start date, a rescheduled date will be necessary.
