Paintline Associate

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Paintline Associate to join their team. As a Paintline Associate, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting production and assembly operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Paintline Associate

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $17.50

Shift:
2nd shift - 4 pm to 12 am (Monday thru Friday)
3rd shift - 10 pm to 6 am (Sunday to Thursday)
**overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including weekends

What's the Job?

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, blemishes, or surface imperfections.
• Read work orders or blueprints and follow the sequence of painting tasks under supervision.
• Assist in basic assembly of products such as Z-legs, logos, and sticker placement.
• Conduct weekly maintenance of equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent. REQUIRED
• Basic math skills and ability to read a measuring tape.
• Ability to measure and mix paint as required by work orders.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Willingness to follow safety regulations and work as part of a team.
