• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5 AM - 2 PM

About the Role

PAK Quality Foods is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. This role is a key part of keeping daily shipments, driver check-ins, customer pickups, and warehouse communication running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Greet and assist truck drivers, vendors, and walk-in customers in a professional manner
• Check drivers in and out for scheduled pickups and deliveries
• Verify and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, invoices, and delivery receipts
• Assign dock doors and communicate loading/unloading instructions to drivers
• Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding incoming and outgoing shipments
• Enter shipment, customer, and driver information accurately into company systems
• Assist walk-in customers with order pickups, paperwork verification, and general inquiries
• Monitor shipment schedules and communicate delays or issues to management
• Maintain organized shipping and receiving records and files
• Answer phones, emails, and radio communications related to warehouse operations
• Ensure compliance with company safety and security procedures
• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies and customer concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or customer service experience preferred
• Experience handling freight paperwork and interacting with truck drivers is a plus
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., files. boxes, office supplies)
• Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone/radio
