*****Must Live in Manatee, Sarasota or Charlotte County******
A Construction Inventory Manager oversees, controls, and optimizes materials, tools, and equipment across warehouses, yards, and job sites to prevent project delays. This hands-on role involves tracking, procuring, and delivering supplies to ensure availability
Will be working from Manatee County - Charlotte County
Key Responsibilities
- Material Flow Management: Handling receiving, issuing, staging, and unloading materials from vendors.
- Inventory Accuracy: Physical inventory audits, and reconciling records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Site Support: Coordinating with project managers and site supers to ensure materials and equipment are available in time for construction schedules.
- Logistics & Storage: Maintaining orderly, safe storage areas and managing tool usage/tracking.
- Vendor Coordination: Working with vendors to manage lead times, receiving shipments, and resolve damages
- Properly Communicate with Team.
Common Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years in inventory management or warehouse operations, with a strong preference for construction industry experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and specialized construction software.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in warehouses/yards, lift heavy items (50+ lbs), and operate forklifts.
- Communication: Strong ability to coordinate between field crews and suppliers
