This is a long-term, renewable contract opportunity for a Contract Specialist with automotive experience. Bachelor degree required.
Job Summary
This role works with internal teams and dealerships to manage dealer contract changes, maintain accurate dealer records, and ensure compliance with company policies and state franchise laws. The specialist handles dealer requests, updates systems and contracts, supports dealers through change processes, and helps keep projects moving on time.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Contract & Portfolio Management
- Process dealer ownership, contract, and business change requests.
- Prepare dealer contracts and enrollment paperwork.
- Update dealer information in company systems and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure all work follows dealer sales and service agreement requirements and state laws.
- Track and manage change requests to meet timing goals.
- Provide weekly status updates on active dealer requests.
Dealer & Stakeholder Support
- Work with dealers and internal teams to gather needed documents and approvals.
- Communicate company policies, procedures, and contract requirements to dealers and field teams.
- Partner with Legal, Market Analysis, and other departments to complete dealer proposals.
- Handle questions, issues, and escalations related to dealer changes.
Systems & Documentation
- Support dealers and personnel with internal systems and electronic signature tools.
- Maintain electronic dealer files and upload required documentation.
- Draft professional letters and communications related to dealer requests.
- Help maintain training materials and desk procedures.
Analysis & Reporting
- Review financial reports and sales forecasts to support dealer proposals.
- Prepare reports and worksheets for dealer network planning activities.
- Request and review background checks for dealer candidates when needed.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Manage dealer-related emails, forms, and administrative tasks.
- Support process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and data accuracy.
- Maintain strong customer service and communication with dealers and internal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dealer contracts, franchise laws, or automotive retail operations.
- Familiarity with dealer management systems, contractual request platforms, and electronic signature tools.
