Recruiter – High Volume Recruiting

Duration:  Contract (4-6 Month)

Location:  Detroit, MI (Hybrid Schedule)

Pay:  $27-$30/hour

Schedule:  Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (2 days on site/ 3 days remote)

Position Overview:  Our client is  seeking an experienced Recruiter to support a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment for a national distribution operation. This role will primarily support warehouse and CDL driver hiring across multiple distribution centers nationwide, while also assisting with select corporate and operations positions as needed.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting efforts for warehouse, CDL driver, and operations-related positions nationwide
• Manage candidates throughout the hiring process from offer stage through onboarding
• Extend offers and coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information within the ATS
• Communicate regularly with hiring managers and leadership regarding hiring activity and status updates
• Update recruiting reports, tracking documents, and hiring metrics
• Ensure a positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process
• Assist with additional corporate recruiting needs as business demands evolve

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recruiting experience required
• High-volume recruiting experience strongly preferred
• Experience recruiting CDL Drivers
• Experience recruiting within warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environments preferred
• Corporate recruiting experience is a plus, particularly in fast-paced environments
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with strong administrative and follow-through capabilities
• Experience with large ATS platforms required
• • Workday Recruiting strongly preferred
  • Other ATS experience such as Taleo or iCIMS will be considered
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools such as Teams
