Location: Front Royal, VA
Pay: Competitive - based on experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire (Long-Term Opportunity)

Able to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed. Hours may involve start times as early as 5:00 a.m.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to support commercial construction projects. This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled professional with strong installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience in commercial HVAC systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems
• Diagnose and repair issues with chillers, cooling towers, RTUs, AHUs, and VFDs
• Perform system startups, testing, and commissioning
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
• Communicate with customers to assess needs and recommend solutions
• Complete service reports, job tickets, and documentation daily
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Support and mentor junior technicians and apprentices

REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of hands-on HVAC experience (commercial preferred)
• Completion of an HVAC Apprenticeship Program and appropriate state licensure (current Journeyman or Master’s License)
• Advanced HVAC Training and Manufacturer’s Training
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, air distribution, and control systems
• Know and understand all facets of the techniques used for Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning service and installation.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex HVAC issues
• Familiar with computers and HVAC software systems
• Communicate effectively in English (aural, verbal, and written).
• Valid driver’s license (clean driving record)
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to lift, carry, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Able to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, heights, confined spaces.
• Must be able to grip tools.
• Must be able to differentiate between colors.
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions and environments
• Capable of standing, bending, crawling, and using tools for extended periods
