Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Residential CDL B Truck Driver to join our transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers, to deliver and service residential waste and recycling collection routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, excellent driving skills, and the ability to load and unload materials efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to community sanitation efforts while maintaining high safety standards and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers in compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Safely load and unload waste or recyclable materials using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Drive residential routes efficiently while adhering to scheduled pickup times and route plans.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts; report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to loading or unloading materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and route activities.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety procedures during daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B with air brakes endorsement.
• Proven experience operating front loader trucks, rear loader trucks, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of truck systems and basic maintenance procedures.
• Prior experience as a delivery driver or in waste collection services preferred.
• Ability to perform manual lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
• Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and professionalism.
