Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile CNC Programmer/Machinist capable of handling both milling and turning operations from start to finish. In this role, you won't just run programs; you will be the architect of the part. You will be responsible for drawing parts in CAD, generating programs in CAM, and performing full setups and operations on Haas CNC Mills and Lathes.
Primary Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Programming: Take a raw print or CAD file and create a finished part. This includes drawing the geometry in Mastercam or Fusion 360 and selecting the most efficient tooling and work-holding strategies.
Multi-Platform Operation: Set up and run both Haas Mills (VF/VM series) and Haas Lathes (ST/DS series).
Code Proficiency: Read, write, and manually modify G-code at the Haas control to optimize tool paths or correct errors on the fly.
Blueprint Analysis: Interpret complex CAD prints and technical drawings, ensuring all parts meet specified tolerances and GD&T requirements.
Precision Machining: Manage the entire setup process, including tool offsets, work-coordinate systems, and first-article inspections to ensure zero-defect production.
Required Qualifications
Software Mastery: Proficient in Mastercam or Autodesk Fusion 360 for both 2D and 3D modeling/toolpath generation.
Equipment Expertise: Proven experience setting up and operating Haas CNC machinery.
Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of G-code/M-code and the ability to troubleshoot code at the machine.
Measurement Skills: Expert use of precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.) to verify your own work.
Dual-Competency: Must be equally comfortable moving between mill and lathe environments.
Candidate Profile
The "All-Rounder": You enjoy the variety of switching between turning and milling projects.
Problem Solver: You can look at a complex part and determine the best sequence of operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
Detail-Oriented: You take pride in "clean" code and high-quality surface finishes.
