Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a 13-week travel contract at an acute rehabilitation hospital in Chesterfield, MO, requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least 2 years of experience.
Details
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 81 private rooms across multiple floors
- Rehab Nursing unit serving adult patients (18+) recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, orthopedic injuries, cancer, and other complex conditions
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:6–7 on days; each nurse has a dedicated tech
- Float requirements within the hospital across 5 units: Stroke, Comprehensive, Medically Complex, Brain Injury, and Spinal Cord Injury
- Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Every other weekend required
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of MO or a compact license recognized in MO
- Current AHA BLS (CPR) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- CRRN certification is preferred
- Candidates must wear black scrubs and display an agency-provided ID badge
- Flu vaccination is required; candidates with an approved medical or religious exemption must complete a facility-specific exemption form and provide email approval — unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask from November 1 through March 31
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
