Truck Driver CDL A Route Delivery

Job Requirements:Requirements

•Minimum 21 years of age.

•Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.

•Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.

•Minimum 100,000 miles and/or 1 year CDL A driving experience required.

•Prior local route delivery experience highly preferred, including local, multiple-stop delivery using hand-cart, ramp, pallet jack preferred.

•Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses

•Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.

•Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

•Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.

•Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.

•Be able to lift, push, pull 15-20 pounds with no assistance.

Job Description:Work Schedule

•Typically home daily but some overnights, approximately 20% of the time. Stay in company paid hotel.

•This is a 24/7 delivery operation; some routes include weekends and/or Holidays.

•Days and start times will vary; work until work is completed, typically 10-14 hours per day.

•Routes awarded by bidding board, based on seniority; typically takes 1-2 years to access most desirable routes.

•Make 2-10 stops per day; Routes may cover surrounding states.
