Talent Acquisition Rep. II / Recruiter

Chipton-Ross is seeking a Talent Acquisition Representative 2 for an opportunity in Newport News, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• 3 Years with Bachelor's Degree in related field; 1 year of relevant professional experience with a Master's Degree

• The ideal candidate would have experience working in either a staffing or full-cycle recruitment environment.

• Additionally, the representative should have experience with reviewing and determining candidate qualifications, salary negotiations, interview scheduling and coordination as well as interfacing with business stakeholders.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts interviews to recruit prospective employees and refers job applicants to specific job openings.

• Evaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, physical and personal qualifications, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referral.

• Prepares rating on applicants, makes recommendations on starting salaries, and provides applicants with information on the company.

• May administer tests and interpret results, check references, arrange transportation of selected applicants, extend formal job offers, work with outside agencies and vendors, etc.

• Process Full Cycle Salaried Job Requisitions, Interview and Pre-Screen candidates, prepare and release offers and provide customer support to the business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

• Experience managing a high volume of requisitions

• Military recruitment experience

• Engineering or IT hiring

• Data Analytics

• Strategic Recruitment experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

Bachelors in related field OR Master's degree is required.

School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:

5/40 workweek. First Shift 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, M-F
