Travel RN – Flex Pool (Med-Surg / Step Down) | Hawaii
\n 13-Week Contract | Day Shifts | Flex Pool

\n Seeking an experienced Flex Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to float between Medical, Surgical, Progressive Care, and Cardiovascular units at a leading hospital in Hilo, Hawaii.

\n Requirements:
\n • Active Hawaii RN License (or must obtain before assignment start)
\n • Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg/Step Down experience
\n • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
\n • Experience with EPIC and/or Meditech EMR preferred
\n • Ability to float between multiple inpatient units
\n • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient care skills

\n Assignment Details:
\n • 13-week contract
\n • 12-hour Day Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
\n • Scheduled 36 hours/week after orientation (hours not guaranteed)
\n • Holiday coverage required
\n • Traveler must arrive the Thursday before the start date for Employee Health appointment on Friday
\n • W-2 employment only (No 1099)

\n Responsibilities:
\n • Provide high-quality nursing care across Med-Surg, Progressive Care, and Surgical units
\n • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
\n • Administer medications and treatments safely
\n • Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes
\n • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
\n • Float to assigned units based on patient care needs
\n • Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC/Meditech EMR
\n • Promote patient safety and quality care throughout the assignment
