Job Description
The Account Supervisor oversees day-to-day warehouse operations while managing assigned customer accounts and performing basic office and administrative tasks. This role ensures accurate order processing, timely delivery execution, and consistent communication between warehouse staff, drivers, and customers. The Account Supervisor supports service quality, accountability, and operational coordination in a fast-paced delivery and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Account & Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
- Manage account KPIs including on-time delivery, installation success rate, damage claims, and customer satisfaction
- Conduct regular client check-ins, performance reviews, and issue resolution
- Escalate and resolve service failures, claims, and exceptions promptly
Warehouse & Operations Support
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including inbound, outbound, staging, and dispatch preparation
- Ensure freight is handled, stored, and staged according to company and customer requirements
- Coordinate warehouse workflow with delivery schedules and driver dispatch
- Verify load accuracy, paperwork, and delivery documentation prior to departure
- Support issue resolution for shortages, damages, and delivery exceptions
Account & Customer Support
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned customer accounts
- Monitor service performance and follow up on delivery issues or customer concerns
- Ensure customer-specific procedures and service expectations are followed
- Communicate status updates, delays, or changes to internal teams and customers
Office & Administrative Tasks
- Complete basic data entry, order entry, and delivery confirmations
- Maintain records including PODs, invoices, claims, and account files
- Prepare daily and weekly operational or account reports
- Answer phones, emails, and internal system messages professionally
- Support billing, claims, and documentation accuracy
Team Coordination & Supervision
- Provide day-to-day direction and support to warehouse associates and drivers
- Assist with onboarding and basic training of new employees
- Monitor attendance, compliance, and adherence to procedures
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety policies and proper material-handling procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and customer requirements
- Report incidents, damages, or safety concerns
- Support audits and internal reviews as needed
Qualifications
Required
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations, delivery, or logistics
- Basic supervisory or lead experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable performing administrative and office tasks
- Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, internal systems)
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivery, final-mile, or 3PL operations
- Familiarity with POD systems, routing, or WMS/TMS platforms
- Customer service or account support experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
