Roll-off Driver Skills and Abilities

• Excellent driving skills, including the ability to maneuver a roll-off truck in various environments and tight spaces.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina to handle loading and unloading waste containers and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Proficient in time management to ensure timely pick-up and delivery schedules and adherence to work hours.
• Exceptional customer service abilities to interact professionally with clients and site personnel during waste collection and disposal.
• Solid understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and basic mechanical knowledge.
• Adherence to safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries while on the job.
• Ability to collaborate with team members to optimize routes and schedules for efficient waste collection and disposal.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members effectively.
• Willingness to stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to waste management and transportation.
• Professionalism and courtesy to represent the company in a positive manner at all times while on duty.

Looking for an experienced front load driver to cover commercial route. The position is fulltime; average 10 hour days. Monday-Friday, flexible scheduling and Saturday work if interested. Extremely low turn over rate. President and management are effective, easy to work with people. Health, dental, and vision insurance offered. 401k with employer matching. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Class B CDL endorsement (advantageous)
• Experience in driving a garbage truck (advantageous)
