Mobile Diesel Mechanic

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems on semi-trucks and trailers.
• Service and maintain key components, including:
  • Brakes
  • Steering & Suspension
  • Drivetrain
  • Electrical Systems
  • HVAC Systems
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and routine services.
• Troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Perform tire services as needed, including mounting, balancing, and repairs.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure DOT compliance and safe operation.
• Maintain accurate service records and work documentation.
• Keep service truck, tools, and equipment organized and in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety guidelines, DOT regulations, and company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate repairs clearly with customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred).
• Experience as a diesel mechanic, mobile mechanic, or fleet technician preferred.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently in roadside and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift/move heavy equipment (30–250 lbs., with or without assistance).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred, not required).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime.
