Forklift Operator (Evening) $21/hr – Choose Your Shifts

• Hours: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM   
• Days: Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) - choose your shifts in the app 
• Pay: $21/hour, paid every Friday (daily pay also available)    
• Location: Americold - Le Mars, IA 

• This is a cold storage warehouse - you'll be working in freezer conditions which is standard for this type of facility.  
• Americold provides freezer suits, eye protection, and ear protection to keep you comfortable on the job.  
• Workers should also be prepared for outside conditions and must wear warm clothing appropriate for the environment. 

 All MWC workers are required to provide their own composite shoes.
 

You’ll play a key role in keeping orders moving by:   

• Efficiently and safely loading and unloading freight and moving products to storage throughout the facility.  
• Operating stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners in compliance.  
• Picking and assembling orders for shipment, checking freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation.  

• At least 6 months of  forklift experience  with strong teamwork and communication skills 
• Basic math skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety and work instructions 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks 
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work in freezer conditions (−20 degrees) and outside ambient conditions.
