Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position in Lewisville, TX, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least 2 years of PCU experience.
Details
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within a hospital
- EMR system: Meditech
- Floating required on an as-needed basis
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Current ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU RNs
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
- Artificial nails, gel, and next-gen nails are not permitted; nails must be clean and natural
- Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer; no extreme styles or colors
- Visible piercings other than ears are not permitted, including nose rings and tongue rings
- Body art should be covered whenever possible; visible tattoos will be addressed individually
