Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts only: Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• On-call responsibilities Saturday night
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Initial orientation with 8-hour day shifts Monday-Friday for first couple weeks to become acclimated
• Holiday work required if holiday falls on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday
• May float to Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford and Stanley locations
• Perform approximately 10-12 ultrasound exams per day
• Perform general ultrasound exams including abdomen, small parts, gynecology, and obstetrics
• Strong emphasis on OB ultrasounds including fetal anatomy scans
• Required experience with pylorus, appendix, and possible fetal brain from NICU
• Work with 4 ultrasound units (Philips EPIQ Elites) in hospital setting
• 2+ years of experience required with travel experience mandatory
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB experience required
• Required certifications: ARDMS certified in OB/GYN & ABD, AHA or ARC BLS
• Epic charting experience required
• Must be hardworking, resilient, social, and able to manage change well
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours

This healthcare facility is an approximately 250-bed hospital and Level II trauma center offering comprehensive medical services to the community. The ultrasound department features modern equipment and performs a high volume of examinations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The facility maintains separate departments for echo/vascular services, breast health center, and interventional radiology to provide specialized care across different service lines.
