Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week ICU travel assignment in Boston, MA, requiring active MA licensure and a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care or ICU experience.
Details
- 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU setting
- Cares for highly complex, critically ill patients supported by a large multidisciplinary team
- 36 hours per week with a 50/50 day and night rotating shift schedule
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Charting is done in Epic
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA only — Red Cross and other providers not accepted at this location)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care inpatient experience, or current ICU experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to a diverse, high-acuity patient population including transplant and trauma cases
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced pay rate
- No validated parking available at this Boston location; public transportation or paid public parking lots are available nearby
- Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
- Any approved time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
