Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 1-2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience for a 13-week travel contract in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab department at a 171-bed Joint Commission accredited community hospital and regional referral center
- Level III Trauma Center and Certified Chest Pain Center
- Required skills include Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, Impella, IABP, PCI, and atherectomy procedures
- Day shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Call shifts required, with a minimum of 10-12 call shifts per month, including up to two weekend call shifts per month
- May be required to float within a 25-mile radius of the facility
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- AHA certifications required
- License required if applicable
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Proficiency with Cardiac Cath Lab procedures including IR, Impella, IABP, PCI, and atherectomy
Additional Information
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full time elsewhere are not eligible
- Located in Lake Havasu City, AZ — within driving distance of Las Vegas (2.5 hrs), Phoenix (3.25 hrs), and the Grand Canyon (3.5 hrs)
- Area offers outdoor recreation including fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking, as well as scenic mountain and lake views
