Contract Attorney - Judgment Review (Alabama Licensed)

Overview

We are seeking an Alabama-licensed attorney in good standing to assist with a time-sensitive judgment review project. The position involves reviewing and approving approximately 1,000 documents in collections matters. This is a fully remote, contract engagement with an expected duration of 3–4 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Review default judgment packages for accuracy and completeness
• Verify judgments in accordance with applicable Alabama rules and firm standards
• Work within Collection Master case management software to process and track judgments
• Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervising attorneys promptly

Requirements

• Active Alabama State Bar membership in good standing
• Experience in collections, consumer finance litigation, or creditor-side civil litigation preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistent throughput to meet project timeline
• Familiarity with Collection Master is a plus but not required

Compensation & Schedule

• $50/hour
