Urgent Care Physician, Fulltime-Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Physician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role involves managing a high volume of patients—typically over 35 per 12-hour shift—delivering timely and effective urgent medical care. The physician will work closely with nurses, medical assistants, specialists on call, and administrative staff to provide comprehensive patient care while ensuring compliance and quality improvement within the facility. Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent care patients
• Provide emergency care and stabilize patients as needed
• Document patient encounters accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Prescribe medications appropriately and monitor patient progress
• Educate patients on their conditions and treatment plans
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, medical assistants, and specialists
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal policies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Proficient in patient assessment and emergency medicine practices
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Effective time management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in urgent care medicine
