CNA -Evening Shift

Job Description:

Key responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) include assisting patients with activities of daily living (like bathing, dressing, and eating), monitoring and recording vital signs, providing mobility assistance, and maintaining a clean and safe patient environment. CNAs also communicate important patient information to the nursing staff and provide compassionate emotional support. This is a 2:30pm-10:30pm position only

• Personal care: Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral hygiene.

• Mobility: Helping patients walk, move, and be repositioned, which includes transferring them between beds and wheelchairs.

• Feeding: Serving meals and assisting with eating, ensuring patients meet their dietary requirements.

• Dignity: Treat residents with respect, address them by their preferred name, and maintain eye contact.

• Infection Control: Practice proper hand hygiene and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary to prevent the spread of infection.

Working in a group home setting with intellectually / developmentally disabled clients. The ideal candidate would possess these skills and a valid drivers license strongly preferred.

Valid CNA certification/license and ability to work weekends are requirements.
