Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job Overview
Boomerang Rubber is growing fast! We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee our Press Room operation on 2nd Shift . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production runs smoothly while adhering to all safety and quality standards. This role requires proven leadership experience and skills in a MANUFACTURING setting.

Competitive Hourly Rate

• Hourly pay rate based on experience. 2nd shift also received an additional $2.00 per hour for shift differential on top of hourly base rate

2nd Shift = 2:00pm - 10:15pm

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
• Enforces the company's safety policy, procedures and governmental rules and regulations.
• Ensures effective employee relations. Provides employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
• Balances safety, quality, productivity, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas.
• Manages shift performance and provide regular progress reports to the manager.
• Maintains proper inventory levels.
• Manages department priorities.
• Ensures that employees are properly trained before making job assignments.

Skills

• Supervisory Experience in Manufacturing Industry: 3 years (Required)
• Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to train and develop employees.
• Ability to set performance goals and measure progress towards goals.
• Ability to balance and achieve positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and employee relations.
• Skills in inventory management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
